Roots

Your natural and my natural
are one in the same.
Calculated to be 4 A, B, or C
It’s not in the name.

The roots are the truths
that hold all the blame.
Why yours has some kink
Yet, mine has some tame.

You add to the prejudice
of this manageable mane.
“What are you mixed with?”,  you ask
time and time again.

I’m mixed with oils and butters
my concoction from slaves.
Because your natural and my natural
Traveled through veins.
